About the Project

This project is unique in that it is made up entirely of women’s groups. In recent years, Trees for the Future has begun integrating village savings and loan activities into Forest Garden projects across Senegal. These activities have been wildly popular, especially among women. This project aims to help organize more than 300 women, helping them to build on savings activities by planting Forest Gardens and increasing crop sales.
