Francis has been working with farmers to enhance sustainable agricultural techniques for over six years. He is passionate about promoting tree planting and climate-smart agriculture. Growing up an orphan with his grandmother, Francis learnt to value farming at a young age, especially planting fruit trees to eat and raise school fees. Francis joined the university where he earned a degree in Natural Resources Economics. In 2015, he worked with the Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF) as a Community Facilitator and later worked for Laterite Uganda as a Research Officer in 2018. He was involved in training and mobilizing farmer groups, community sensitization and capacity building trainings.
