Trees for the Future Aims to Plant Double the Trees with donors and partner Established Titles
Washington DC (November 29, 2022) — Established Titles will match every donation made to Trees for the Future (TREES) in honor of Giving Tuesday today, up to $50,000.
“When supporters donate today, their gift will be doubled by Established Titles,” says Director of Business Development Brian MacNair. “That means twice the trees, twice the nutrition, twice the income, and twice the impact for the farmers we serve.”
TREES trains farmers in a sustainable agroforestry technique called the Forest Garden Approach. Over the course of the four-year program, farmers plant thousands of trees on their own property and dramatically increase their access to nutritional foods and a steady source of income.
Established Titles is a conservation project that preserves woodland areas in Scotland via a historic custom whereby customers can dedicate one square foot of land to a loved one, making them an honorary Lord or Lady. Established Titles has helped to plant over 2 million trees with Trees for the Future.
“Our partnership with Trees for the Future this Giving Tuesday will allow us to extend our conservation efforts, effectively restoring and protecting farmlands in sub-Saharan Africa, in addition to the land we are already preserving in Scotland, and the reforestation projects that we support globally,” says Established Titles’ Kat Yip. “We hope that our matching donation on Giving Tuesday will encourage more people to give and create an even bigger impact!”
“We’re grateful for Established Titles’ dedicated partnership and generous matching gift,” says MacNair. “We look forward to planting lasting change with our entire giving community this Giving Tuesday.”
