Inside TREES

Most of our offices look a little different than what many of us are used to. Most of the Trees for the Future team are in the field daily, planting trees and training farmers!

We have a small team in the U.S. hard at work to raise awareness for our cause and keep our systems running smoothly. Over 200 of our team members are located across the countries we work in. We currently have numerous physical offices across Africa that serve as hubs for our current project areas and host our administrative staff for each region.

Our secret sauce isn’t so secret… most of our incredible team members are from our project regions. This is vital for optimal impact. These team members understand local context and truly help farmers and their land thrive based on their individual and community needs.

Have you ever heard that phrase? Teaching is foundational to our program to help farmers gain independence. Most of our team is made up of trainers that travel daily to train farmers on our approach and ensure they are successful.

While we hold frequent farmer trainings in the communities where we work we also have our renowned training centers that are located across 5 countries. These training centers are model Forest Gardens that have indoor and outdoor classroom facilities. They hold in-person workshops for farmers, staff, and local organizations.
