There's power in partnership

The generous contributions of our corporate sponsors give us the ability to do so much more. These businesses and organizations find value in forming partnerships to support our work and demonstrate their commitment to the environment by planting trees.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Trees for the Future has worked around the world since our founding in 1989. We are currently working in five countries across sub-Saharan Africa. These countries are where we are seeing the most impact with our approach. The benefits of planting trees with farmers in developing countries instead of mass tree plantings are incredible. Trees have a much higher rate of survival and benefit the family when being cared for by a farmer.

  • Annual donations under $5000 can be donated directly online above where it says “donate”. Official Corporate Partners can choose a Quarterly, Bi-annually, or Annual contribution schedule in their contract, and will be invoiced as such.

*For donations greater than $5000, please pay by check or ACH transfer to minimize processing fees.

Please make sure your company name and invoice number are identical to that on the invoice.

Any processing fees, wiring fees or other financial charges will be the responsibility of the donor. Trees for the Future will be paid in full for any contracted amount exclusive of any such charges. Thank you.

Please email partnerships@trees.org for banking details.

  • All corporate partners will receive tax-deductible contribution letters immediately following the completion of their donation.

  • Impact Planting: In this popular partnership model, many businesses commit to planting a certain number of trees for their product(s) or service(s) sold. Some businesses also give a set amount per year, or donate an amount per quarter depending on their revenue for that quarter. Impact Planting partners begin with a minimum initial contribution of $5,000 USD. Impact Planting partner donations fund our work where it is needed when that contribution comes in.

Project Sponsorship: Through the Project Sponsor partnership model, businesses support a specific community by entering into a multi-year commitment to help sponsor a new or current project. Projects consist of 150-600 farming families and plant millions of trees over 2-4 years at a minimum of $50,000 per year. At any given time, Trees for the Future has multiple projects and thousands of families in our pipeline awaiting sufficient funding.

  • Your company’s support helps us meet the triple bottom line of ending environmental degradation, hunger, and poverty. Your donation funds tree planting in our current locations of work. It funds the seeds, training, and tools to grow Forest Gardens that are on farmers’ land. Each Forest Garden has, on average, thousands of trees, dozens of varieties of fruits and vegetables. This not only helps the environment, it helps communities break free of hunger and poverty.

We are grateful for your companies support and commitment to a better future. It is only because of your support that we can continue our work to meet our mission.
