Ceverene Mureithi is the Global Director of People & Operations at Trees for the Future. She leads the organization’s global people operations systems, overseeing talent acquisition, the employee lifecycle, performance systems, and employee relations across all TREES countries. Her work is focused on building efficient, people-centered structures that strengthen workplace culture, foster trust, and support organizational excellence.
With over 11 years of People and Culture experience, Ceverene brings deep expertise in Human Resources, organizational development, and operational leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree from Lund University, Sweden, as well as executive certificates from Harvard Business School and Cornell University. Before joining TREES, she held senior HR roles across multinational and regional organizations, supporting diverse teams in complex operational environments.
Ceverene is based in Nairobi, Kenya, with her family. When she’s not navigating complex people matters, she is an ardent football fan and a budding green thumb.
