Tim McLellan joined Trees for the Future in 2022 where he and the TREES team are committed to scaling tested agroforestry models with smallholder farmers throughout Africa and beyond. Tim has dedicated his career to large scale individual and social change programs for leading international non-profits. Before coming to TREES, he served as Chief Operating Officer at TechnoServe, which was cited by Impact Matters as the leading global poverty-alleviation NGO in 2019. Prior to joining TechnoServe, he spent 14 years in various positions at Population Services International, including Regional Director for East Africa and Country Director in Nigeria and India. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
