Plant trees and change lives with Crypto!
Trees for the Future accepts cryptocurrency!
Now it’s even easier to donate to Trees for the Future (TREES). Donating cryptocurrency is a non-taxable event, meaning you do not owe capital gains tax on the appreciated amount and can deduct it on your taxes. This makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency donations one of the most tax-efficient ways to support your favorite cause. You can find all of our accepted cryptocurrencies in our FAQ below.
When you donate crypto to Trees for the Future, we immediately transfer your coins to fiat. Your donation will fund Forest Garden projects throughout Sub-Saharan Africa!
Please note: All cryptocurrency donations made to Trees for the Future are non-refundable. Please only send currencies listed on the widget, do not send unsupported currencies (including unsupported ERC-20s, ERC-721s and BEP20s) as these may be lost.”
Did you know that we were one of the first climate-focused nonprofits to accept cryptocurrency donations?
At Trees for the Future, we believe that innovative solutions are the key to combating some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Since our founding, we have developed one of the most innovative farmer field-based training curriculums available to the public, the Forest Garden Program. This four-year program teaches farmers the Forest Garden Approach, an innovative solution that combats climate change, restores landscapes, and empowers farming families to plant themselves out of poverty and hunger.
