About Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens
Founded in 1919, Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is an award-winning nonprofit caring for endangered species and educating hundreds of thousands of guests a year. Since 2014, we have invested over $3 million dollars in conserving plants and animals in the wild, including fully funding the annual salaries of 16 field staff, including two wildlife veterinarians. We plant a tree for each child visiting on a field trip and four trees for every annual membership sold. Naples Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and The Morton Register of Arboreta and is also a member of the American Public Gardens Association.
