About Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens
Founded in 1919, Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is an award-winning nonprofit caring for endangered species and educating hundreds of thousands of guests a year. Since 2014, we have invested over $2.4 million dollars in conserving plants and animals in the wild including fully funding the salaries of ten field staff including two wildlife veterinarians. We plant a tree for each child visiting on a field trip and four trees for every annual membership sold. We are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and The Morton Register of Arboreta and are members of the American Public Gardens Association.
